(Anaglyph programmable filters)


Before starting this LAB open in 3D Gugle a stereo image in Side-by-Side mode.
To create a stereo image in Side-by-Side you can use "Open Stereo Pairs" LAB.

Examples of deghost using filters "Gallery".

Then start this LAB from the menu "Image" select "Anaglyph programmable filters".

The control dialogue it has three sections: "Gamma", "Left image", "Right image".
First apply the "Gamma" function, in the section "
Gamma", to all of the image before applying the filters.

You can apply the function "Gamma" to a single RGB colour, or to all colours by pressing the "All" button.

The section "Left image" applies the filter to the left image.



The left image also contains an operation to move the Red colour.
To move the Red colour use the scroll-bar with the label "
Red X = n
".

The section "Right image" applies the filters to the right image.



The right image is the fixed part of the anaglyphs and it contains the Green and the Blue colours.

The button "Swap" switches the two original stereo images, left-for-right.

The buttons "Save data" and "Load data" save or load any customised filters.

The button "RST" set the default value for the filter selected by "Method".

The button "OK Anaglyph" closes the LAB and converts the original Side-by-Side image to an anaglyph, applying the active filters.

The button "OK Side-by-Side" close the LAB and converts the colours of the original Side-by-Side image to new colours determined by the active filters.

The buttons "Decimal" and "Hundredths" select the precision of the Spin Step.
Note
To insert the value in the Spins you can use four methods.
    a) acting with the mouse on the Spinbuttons
    b) mouse wheel
    c) keyboard or numeric keys, "Enter" store the value.
    d) Up/Down arrow key

Note:
1) To hide/reveal the controls dialogue-box, click on the image to toggle.
2) To move the scroll bars you can use the mouse wheel or the keys. To use the mouse wheel select the scroll bar by clicking with the mouse.
The active keys are the following
: "A." and "S" which move one unit, "Z" and "X" which move by several units while "Home" and "End
" bring the scrolls to each extreme.

4)To hide the preview screen and the controls dialogue-box use the standard "minimize” button


Menu Method

Select a filter from the menu "Method". The values of the spins-buttons and the scroll-bars change according with the value required by the selected filter.
Generally the basic filter requires modifying and adapting of the values appropriate to the specific image.

The Spin-buttons with a Red text is the more important to determine the result.
