(Colour-bits-Toggler)
This Lab is to set the individual bits of an RGB colour value.
To activate the LAB, select in the menu "Image" "Artist" and then "
Colour-bits-Toggler".
By deselecting a check button
you set to zero the corresponding bit in the colour memory.
In the RGB system you have three memories for
every point of screen (pixel): one memory for the Red, one for the Green and one
for the Blue.
Each memory of every single colour comprises 8 bits. The most important bit for
the colour is bit seven.
By changing the bit value you can create many
graphic effects.
To create a special effect you can use this Lab together with the
Combine Lab.
In the example below a graphic effect is applied to the study of the optic rivalries. To see the effect use cross/parallel-eye vision.
