(CMYK print preview)
(Swap Side-by-Syde)

CMYK print preview

This function is for visualizing the real colours of an image when it is printed.
The function is useful for printing any image but it is essential for printing anaglyphs.
For further information and methods for printing anaglyphs see also:
Anaglyph printing

To activate this function from the menu Image to select "CMYK print preview".

When the function is active a new window shows a copy of the printed colours.

To correct the colours so that the printed image is as close as possible to the original image, normally the "Luminance" LAB from the menu "Image" is used.

The procedure is the following:
1) activate the window of "CMYK print preview"
2) divide the dimensions of the screen to visualize the original image and the "CMYK" image.
3) from the menu Image select "Luminance" to activate the Lab for control of the luminance.
5) correct the colours by acting on the chrominances Red and Blue
6) visualize the result by clicking with the mouse on the image on the "CMYK" window.

If you desire you can open a third window, (before starting the Luminance LAB), so that you also have a visual reference of the original image.
To open a new window from the menu "View" select "New Window".

Complete the colours adjustment, save or print the correct image.

Note
If you operate with an anaglyph it is useful to visualize the result and make the adjustments wearing anaglyph glasses.
