The LABs of "DeGhost by Contrast", "Deghost by Histogram", "Open Stereo Pairs" use a method unique to 3D Gugle.

The algorithms of 3D Gugle can directly operate on the already composed anaglyphs and you have the ability to immediately appraise the results.

This same laboratory can be used successfully for correcting the colours of ordinary images or to produce graphic effects.

To activate this LAB from the menu: "Image" select "DeGhost by Histogram"

This LAB uses three different methods:

The method "R G B" is used for small ghost problems.

The method "Y Cb Cr" is used for serious ghost problems

The method "C M Y K" is used for serious ghost problems or with images that have high saturation colours and/or images with important areas of red or blue colours.

The scroll-bar "Gamma"  operates to apply the function "Gamma".

To change the values drag the blue triangle cursor with the mouse.

To make a precise movement you can use the Spin.buttons.
The little orange button sets the default value of the specific cursor.

To reset to default the cursor values of the selected method use the yellow "RST" button.

To set all methods to default values use the main "RST" button.

On selecting the "All" button you can move the left and right cursors together.

With the buttons "Load data" and "Save data" you can save-load the value.

Please remember also that:

1) To hide/reveal the controls dialogue-box, click on the image to toggle.

2)To see the other functions not described on this page, please consult "Common functionality"

Procedure for using this LAB

1) Move the scroll-bar "Gamma" to the right to the maximum value.
2) Change the colours for a tone reconstruction starting from:
    "R G B", left cursor RED
"Y Cb Cr", left cursor "Red Chrominance"
"C M Y K" left cursors of Magenta and Yellow
3) Move the scroll-bar "Gamma" to the left to find a good compromise
4) Press "OK" to close the LAB and use the various functions of 3D Gugle to make the new anaglyph

Note
The anaglyphs resulting from the application of "DeGhost by Histogram" in the examples below have not been submitted to further graphics corrections; the results can be later notably improved using the graphic functions of 3D Gugle.

The original images have kindly been offered by the teacher and artist of the stereo photo:
Dr. Zsolnai-Nagy Imre
