(Emboss Depth Emphasise)

The algorithm of "Depth Emphasise" has been developed by 3D Gugle and is the exclusive ownership of, 3D Gugle.

To activate this LAB from the menu "Image" select "Image Reconstruction" and then  "Depth Emphasise"

The purpose of this function is to individualize the edge of graphic objects contained in an image so as to modify the lights and the shades to increase the feeling of depth.

This function can be used for a lot of applications. The principal ones are:

1) reconstruction of photographic images
2) adding tone to anaglyphs
3) "Auto 3D" for simple 2D to 3D stereo pairs conversion.

Example: Photographic reconstruction.
This method is used when an image is not well focused or when you want to add greater definition to the details.
The direction of the light has to be equal to the direction of the light of your image.
If you want to apply this function only on a graphic object or only a part of your image you can use the "Combine Lab"
