(Frame Shop)
"Frame Shop" is a useful Lab that allows the construction and the application of the frames.
The frames are of high quality and conceived for stereoscopic applications.
The algorithm of management of the lights and the tones is very complex and it is based on the concepts of the automatic modeling but the rendering is only one pixel.
The high quality of these frames allows not only a vision without annoying optic rivalries but it helps also in the perception of the stereoscopic effects.

Please remember also
that:
1) To hide/reveal the controls dialogue-box, click on the image to toggle.
2) To move the scroll bars you can use the mouse wheel or the keys.
To use these functions select first the scroll bar by clicking with the mouse.
The active keys are the following: "A." and "S" which move one unit, "Z" and "X"
which move by several units while "Home" and "End" bring the scrolls to each
extreme.
3) If your image is too big select the appropriate
"Zoom" level in the Zoom list box to reduce the displayed size. The Zoom control
is in the same dialogue.
If you set the Zoom option to "Window" 3D Gugle automatically fits your image to
the main window.
The zoom function is fast and of high quality, providing a blur-free view with
no retinal-rivalry.
4) To see any other functionality not described on this page, please consult
To activate the "Frame shop" Lab from the menu Image, select "Special Functions" and then "Frame shop".
Every frame is composed of four elements of colour: three colours for the light and one colour for the dark.
The colours can be selected clicking with the mouse on the Disk of the colours.
The colour of the shades is selected making by clicking with the mouse on the on the last disk.
In the disk of the colours it is also possible to change the brightness by dragging the red triangle vertically with the mouse.
If the "Preview" button is activated it is possible to see the results immediately.
You will easily understand the principle by observing the sketch below.
The dark colour is used in mixture with all the colours.
If the width of a single colour is too wide, the colours below will not be visible. This is useful for creating frames made up of one or more elements.
By selecting a
different value for the "Radius" the frames will appear with rounded edges,
If
you select "Normal" the rounded angle is Up and Down but you can select
only "Up" or only "Down" position.
Selecting a
different value in the "LX = n" scroll bar will increase the thickness of the frame.
In the left panel you will see a rapid preview of the final look.
You can see some examples of different thickness and different angles with the rounding effect in the figure below. To move the images inside the frames, or to resize the frames or to modify the interspace use the specific scroll-bars.
When the "Stereo" check-box is selected, "Frame Shop" draws two frames placed side by side and the controls of the dialogue change.

Auto de-ghost frame
The controls are available only if
the "Stereo" mode is Off

To use this functionality select the
box: "Anaglyph Frame".
When the box is selected two scroll bars become visible with which it is
possible to move the colour of Shift both for the independent image and for the
image with the frame.
Naturally to be able to produce the stereo effect is essential that on the
sides of the image there is sufficient space to allow the shift.
The space for the Shift is created by increasing the interspace with the Frame
Size scroll bar.
The "Auto de-ghost frame" has two purposes. The first one is aesthetic and the
second is to help to constrain the Shift to reduce ghosts.
