(Programmable Filter)

In this laboratory you can create and test the personalized graphic filters.
The filter is of great quality (12 decimal precision) and high speed.

This LAB is designed, particularly, for use with stereoscopic images.

To activate the "Programmable Filter Lab", select in the menu "Image" "Artist" and then "Programmable Filter".

With this LAB it is possible to work in two ways: "All colours" or single colour.
To select the "All colours" mode you click the check button "
All Colours
"

Every spinbutton represents a point of graphic memory and the nine buttons represent a square group of nine memories. The square has sides of 3 x 3 pixels.

The "Factor" represents a constant number with which all the values contained in the single colour memories can be divided. This value always has to be different from zero.

The "
Offset
" represents a constant number summed to all the values.

The number contained in every spin button (nine buttons) corresponds to a constant multiplication number to multiply the real value contained in the memory.

    Result = Offset + ((Real value x spin value ) / Factor )

You can save or load the filter data using the grey buttons "Save" and "Load".

The programmable filter is a universal standard filter (the difference of the 3D Gugle filter is only in the precision of the work and not in the method). If you don’t have expertise in this area, it is advisable to make some searches on the Internet.
