(Security Media Player)
Security Media Player (SMP) is a great performance
movie reader able to operate with many major video formats.
From research and development of three-dimensional movies, SMP has been created.
SMP has true power, high colour preservation and extra high sound quality
reproduction. SMP is also a powerful tool to make searches in the visual
perception and optic effects fields.
In general Security Media Player is endowed with a large set of functions with which it is possible to do a complete visual analysis of films and images and therefore its use is also suitable for the laboratories of medicine, police investigations, every type of scientific research, etc.
SMP because of its ability to show images, film and composite lists of images and film, is also a powerful tool for the presentation of commercial products, for generic data presentation or as a good aid for scholastic teaching.
SMP can easily work with high frames/second speed and it doesn't have any problems if the films are of great pixels dimensions or have ben compressed inefficiently.
SMP produces such spectacular results that generally those who have tried it once use SMP forever.
The great performances and the high quality are
determined by the fact that SMP doesn't have remarkable dependence on your
hardware.
SMP is pure software and it doesn't require DirectX, video accelerators or RAM
buffers.
The image below demonstrates the low hardware resources required by SMP to show
a full screen movie (1280 x 800).

The word "
Security" has been added to the name of our player because your privacy is always perfectly protected.Besides:
SMP main feature
>> Max
speed 200 frames sec (800 x 600 pixels)
>> Speed control by scroll-bar
>> Audio High Stereo fidelity
>> Stereo Balance scroll-bar
>> Fine volume control by scroll-bar
>> Mute button
>> Extreme preservation of the colours with
automatic balancing control
>> Zoom of high quality with algorithms from
a digital research laboratory, extra fast elaboration, zoom up to 6 X, and the
zoom is active also when the movie is stopped
>>
Easy Playlist Editor for management of composite lists (film and images) for visualization in slide shows, the possibility of list mixing, and to load and save list data. The Player
To activate SMP, select from the menu: "Movie", "Security Media Player".
The use of the various functions of SMP is very easy and intuitive.

Note
Button "Zoom"
This button open the Zoom LAB and
widens the window of Security Media Player.

To change the zoom effect use the scroll-bar while to show the hidden areas
drag the rectangle in the green panel with the mouse.
The function of Zoom is active both for the film and for images. For the films
it is also active in the "Stopped" state.
If you click with the mouse on the green screen the screen colour changes to
red.
When the panel is red the keyboard is active and with the arrow keys you can
move the screen. To alter the speed use the "Shift" key with the arrow keys.
Note
Button "Normal"
This button shows the single file or
a whole PlayList at the proper size of the file. If the file is bigger than the
screen the size is reduced to the maximum screen dimension.
When this function is active the video screen can be resized with the mouse.
Button "Fix"
This button shows the single file or
a whole PlayList at a fixed dimension. The dimension is determined by the screen
size.
To change the size of the screen you use the mouse.
Button "Max"
This button shows at "full
screen" the movie or the image or the complete PlayList. To close the "full
screen" use the button "Normal".
Button "Load"
To load a film or an image or a series of film and
images use the button "Load".
The dialogue of open file is in multi-open state. In other words you can open
one or more files with only one action.
The rules of the multi-file selection are the same rules of MS-Windows.
The file formats used by SMP are:
>> Images: *.jpg; *.bmp; *.png;
*.wdp;
*.crp; *.crm; *.gna
>> Film: *.avi; *.mpg;*.mpeg;
*.mpeg; *.mpe; *.mp2; *.m1v; *.wmv; *.wma; *.vob; *.qt; *.mov
>> Crypted file *.enf"
The
*.crp format is an
encrypted image. The encrypted image is visible in the preview and in the screen
only if you insert a correct password. *.crp is a "GUG Soft" owner’s format.
The *.crm
format is an encrypted image. This type of encrypted image is for the exclusive
use of SMP, *.crm is a "GUG Soft" owner’s format.
The formats "*.crp" and "*.crm" are directly read from SMP without to preventive
decrypt.
To use the encrypted format is necessary to create a password.
To insert a password from the menu "File" select "Preference" and then "Set
image file type".
The
*.gna
format is a high speed compression
image. This format is used by the frames or as a normal image.
*.gna is "GUG Soft" owner’s format.
The
*.enf
format is a generic encrypted file.
With this format you can encrypt/decrypt images, movies and any type of file.
*.enf is a "GUG Soft" owner’s format.
To use and read the "*.enf" file requires decryption.
When you use the button "OK" in the open dialogue the new selected file(s) are added to the PlayList.
For further information about the open dialogue see the specific page of Open/Save Dialogue
To encrypt/decrypt any file or image or to completely delete a file with the TRUE Delete function, use the LAB of "
Save/Resize batch"
Button "Play"
The "Play" button is used to start the movie but it can act in two different
ways:
a) if the "Play List"
button is not selected SMP plays the single movie or the single image selected
in the PlayList.
b) if the "Play List"
button is selected SMP plays, in sequence, the film and the images starting from
the selected line in the PlayList to the end line of the list.
Button "Play
List"
The "Play List" button is used
only to initiate the use of the PlayList. To start the player you must use the "Play"
button.
The PlayList can contain both images and film.
When an image is shown it continues for the time in seconds determined by the
value of the scroll-bar "Slide show time"
Button "Repeat"
This button starts the infinite
repeat loop of the movie or of the PlayList if the button "Play
List" is selected.
The scroll "Speed"
This scroll-bar enables variation,
within a large range, of the projection speed. Moving it toward the left slows
the film down.
The "Play-List" of films and images
To see the PlayList move the mouse on the first name of the PlayList.
The selection of the files effected by the "
Check" buttons is used to determine what film or images are used to play a "List".On clicking on the PlayList with the right mouse button a context menu appears which you use to work and manage the list.
