(Stereo Analysis)

Stereo Analysis is an indispensable method for analysing the quality of stereo images.
Stereo Analysis is also a precise way to automatically generate the intermediate frames for animations and lenticular applications.

In this LAB you can also analyse anaglyphs. When you open an anaglyph, the anaglyph is converted into a stereo pair.
The conversion allows the use of the already composed anaglyph, for lenticular applications.

The method used in this laboratory, unique to 3D Gugle, allows you to change the coordinates for the rotation axle by simply moving a scrollbar.

You can use images with different side dimensions. In this case the image opened as "Left" is considered the main reference.

Varying the zoom X and Y and the coordinates' position you can generate animations or graphic effects such as, for example: Zoom, Flip, Twist, Morph, Explosion, Turning, Animation, and Zig Zag.

The generation of the intermediate frames is automatic and it is possible to save in two ways: normal and high resolution.
With "normal" the frame is saved for create an animation or AVI movie and in "HR" for lenticular printing.

To improve the work performed on the stereo frames you can use the various 3D Gugle LABs.

Movie 2D to 3D                 To convert an ordinary film to 3D or to correct the depth of a stereo film
Layers Assembly                To create stereo animation using the Layers.
Write LAB                        To create Layers from word or text

Algorithms to Layers          To automatically create the intermediate frames required for lenticulars or animations.

AVI from frames               To create an AVI movie from frames
Frames from AVI               To extract the frames from an AVI movie
Capture Video/Audio          To capture in AVI format videos from Web pages, DVD, etc.

Graphics on frames             Apply a graphics function to a series of frames
Frame Utlity                      Apply various functions to a series of frames

Frame Inversion                 Creates a reverse-sequence of frames for continuous cycling of animations
Save/Resize Batch             To resize a series of different images to the same dimensions and to transform a series of images into frames for creating a movie.
Security Media Player        3D Gugle's powerful media player to view your movies without compromising security or privacy

3D WebCam                       To see a stereo preview from your WebCams

To activate this Lab from the menu "Movie" select "Stereo Analysis".

This Lab can operate with anaglyphs and any stereo images.
To open an image to analyse, from the menu: "File" select the open mode you prefer.

If you select the "Open Anaglyph" your image will automatically convert a stereo Pair.

Using "
Open normal image" you can create special dynamic effects from normal images. See the example below.

When you use "Open Anaglyph" or  "Open normal image" in the "Open" dialogue you can also select the method of conversion.

Controls

The left image is fixed while the right is mobile and controllable by the scrollbars.

The "Axle X" and "Axle Y" bars move the center of the rotation axle. "Zoom X" and "Zoom Y" magnify the image.

With the various combinations of "zoom" and "moves" it is possible to create some simple graphic effects and morphing.
