(Free Deformations)
Please remember that: to hide/reveal the controls dialogue-box, click on the image to toggle.
This control, with some small
differences, is available in many Lab of 3D Gugle.
The purpose of the control is to deform an image in
free way with the simple aid of the mouse.
The method of deformation is appropriate for stereo images and for anaglyphs.
The stereo deformations unlike the common deformations can be appreciated
only in their entirety by using the stereoscopes or stereo vision methods such
as cross/parallel-eyed.
In the image below, as an example, a stereo wave deformation has been applied.

For further information on the stereo deformations please consult the tutorial
"Algorithms to
Layers" LAB.
To deform non-stereo but with a normal deformation deselect the check button "Stereo".
This control is also a valid aid to correct the photographic lens deformation
errors.
In 3D Gugle you have two other laboratories for lens error correction:
Sphere
and
Perspective
The algorithm used in this LAB has
been developed by 3D Gugle and
is exclusively owned by 3D Gugle.

When this control is activated, the
image of the main screen is recopied inside the control.
The recopied image doesn't have correct proportions but is extended for the
inside space of the control.
This adaptation is essential because it allows you to appraise at what point of the
image you make the deformation.
When you work with the left points (vertical) and
move these points you deform the whole image horizontally. The deformation
follows the form of the white line.
The little squares in red colour
If the button "Preview" is selected
you can see in real time the effect of the deformation.
To increase the amount of
deformation you use the scroll bar "Increase".
If you select "Anti alias" the graphic quality of the deformation results are improved but the speed of execution decreases.
In the Box "All colours"
you can select which single RGB colour you want to deform.
In the Box "Curves" you can Save (Add)
the shown curve or you can delete the saved curve.
To recall and apply the saved curves click on the buttons with the arrow
symbols.

An example of ordinary deformation

In the anaglyph below the deformation has been applied only on the Red colour
to increase the sea depth.
