(Write)
In this lab you can create and apply text to image.
To activate the "Write" Lab from the menu Image, select "Special Functions" and then "Write".
The text is composed of two colours: the text colour and the background colour.

To change the colours you first select one of the check buttons: "Text" or "Back" and then you click with the mouse in the sphere of the colours.
Selecting "Text" changes the text colour, selecting "Back" you changes the
background colour.
You have
also three special colours: pure white, pure black and transparent colour.
To select these colours you click in the labels under the colours sphere.
To change the dimension (Size) or the rotation angle (Angle) use the spinbuttons of the corresponding input boxes.
To move the text
in the image you simply drag the text with the mouse.In Write Lab you can insert ten different texts
and each text can have a different style and colours.
To add a new text you press the button "
To modify the text, the style or to
delete,
first you select the text with the mouse and then you press the
button "Delete" or you make the change that
you like.
The button "Set change" sets the new text that is
written in the text input box.
When you move a text with the mouse,
the selected text comes to the front possibly covering the previous text.
To change the visual level of the text you first click on the text and then you
click with the right mouse button.
In the context menu that appears you select the preferred action.

"Bring To Front" brings
the selected text to the front
"Send To Back" sends the selected text
back a level
"Delete Selected Text" deletes the selected text
To create a stereoscopic text in a
side by side image for cross or parallel viewing you simply have to repeat the
text twice, once to the left and once to the right.
My moving with the mouse one of the two texts you can change the perspective
vision.

Note:
If you use the transparency effect in many overlapped texts, the transparency
preview doesn't show the effect but when you press the "OK" button the final
image will contain the transparencies.
